Synthesis of Organotransition Metal Cluster Compounds

摘要


有機金屬簇化學式無機化學領域中,在過去二、三十年呈現蓬勃發展的主要分支之一。今天,不論是合成、鍵結分子活性等各方面,均累積了豐富的知識。本文將介紹兩種常用金屬簇化合物合成法:1.配位基解離及取代,2.架橋輔助反應。在配位基解離及取代方法中,將介紹常用配位基解離法:光化學法、熱引發裂解法及化學引發解離法,此外由於配位基解離,旨在產生未飽和反應中間體,因此於此亦將介紹未飽和分子應用於金屬簇化合物合成。就被取代配位基而言,除羰基外,將著重於應用弱鍵結配位基於金屬簇化合物合成。架橋輔助反應方面,成功應用於促進金屬簇化合物合成的架橋分子片或原子已相當多,本為將重點放在硫原子應用介紹。希望透過架橋硫原子,闡述架橋配位基在金屬簇化合物合成方面所扮演角色:1.引進含金屬之分子或分子片,2.促進金屬-金屬鍵形成,3.提高所形成金屬簇化合物穩定性。

In past two decaeds, a major development in the burgeoing field of inorganic chemistry is the evolution of organometallic clusters chemistry. Today, the understanding of cluster synthesis, bonding and reactivity has been greatly extended. In this paper two approaches: first, ligand dissociation and displacement; second, bridge-assisted reaction, for the synthesis of organometallic cluster compounds are presented. Photolysis, pyrolysis and chemically induced ellmination are three principal methods of lignad dissociation reaction, especially in the preparation of carbonyl clusters. Compounds, containing metalmetal, metal-carbon mutiple bonds and electron deficient clusters, are useful starting material for the synthesis of organometallic cluster compounds. Examples of three principal methods and utilization of unsaturated compounds in cluster synthesis are given to illustrate the first approach. Also, good works of the usage of week coordinated ligand in organometallic cluster synthesis will be introduced to address the importance of ligand displacement reaction. Bridge-assisted reactions have achieved great success in metal cluster synthesis. Reaction with compounds containing sulfido bridging Iignads is the main focus in this paper and will be discussed in detail to demonstrate the role, bringing in metal fragments, promoting metal-metal bond formation and stabilizing cluster, of bridging ligand play in metal cluster synthesis.
