利用大小粗細之塑膠吸管等簡易材料及一些小零件來設計具有創意之安全科學玩具—塑膠吸管吹笛。參與動手玩科學之研習的教師582 位、學生635 位合計有1217 位師生,其中約有99%以上之幼稚園所教師及95%的幼保系學生認為創意科學玩具之設計與製作皆可在教室內或戶外來實施並帶動幼兒動手玩科學,得以增進幼稚園所教師對科學玩具之認識與製作技能,進而將動手玩科學玩具應用在幼兒科學遊戲創意教學上,使幼兒園學童能經由接觸自製的科學玩具、由遊戲中學習科學,俾能增加幼兒動手玩科學的機會與對科學的好奇與興趣,使幼保系學生及幼稚園所教師對科學不但不畏懼,而且使教師對科學之教學更有信心、更為生動、活潑且有趣,使幼保系的學生對科學更有興趣,使科學之教與學更有成效,讓科學能由幼兒時期開始萌發、生根與落實。
The researcher designed some new style plastic straw piping of scientific toys for young children and application to creative teaching with scientific games. These new creative scientific toys are designed and constructed with plastic straw and other simple materials. In this study, above 99% of 582 kindergarten teachers at Kaohsiung-Pingtung area, and above 95% of 635 students of Department of Child Care strongly agree that they have a lot of fun through playing with these simple creative scientific toys. It is easy and safe to make these scientific toys by everyone. Playing hands-on with the creative scientific toys can also help students and children to enhance the learning interest and effectiveness in sciences. Through these hands-on workshops we can understand that students can play the scientific games conveniently in the classroom or at outdoor without difficulties in operation.
