「職涯發展」的議題影響了幾乎所有人，且跨及人的一生，涵蓋了個人所選擇的工作、職業及休閒活動。在職涯發展過程中，個人的決定會受到各方面的影響，如家庭環境、教育、宗教及其他各種社會因素。經國際認證之 GCDF《全球職涯發展師》可任職於政府機關、學校單位、私人企業、顧問公司等機構，為需要就業輔導、職涯諮商、人力資源規劃與發展等專業服務的大眾，提供規劃、諮詢、引導等專業服務。職業輔導服務，而非心理諮詢或心理治療。 除非接受測評出版機構的培訓，並擁有其合法授權，否則，GCDF（全球職涯發展師）能不能為提供職業能力建立與評量。GCDF（全球職業發展師）對成人繼續教育和實踐的核心價值為何？本文就上述議題進行評析。

The topic of ＂career development＂ involving job and leisure choosing affects almost everyone. In career development, individual decisions are influenced by various aspects, such as home environment, education, religion and other social factors. Anyone who is certified the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) can be hired in government agencies, schools, private business, and consultant companies providing professional services for those who need career counseling, and human resources development. Career counselling service is not psychotherapy. Unless trained by a publishing agency, and has its legal authority, otherwise, can GCDF (Global Career Development Facilitator) provide professional competence building and evaluation. What is the core value of GCDF (Global Career Development Facilitator) for adult continuing education and practice? This article reviews the above issues.
