When the human stress rising, the autonomic nervous system will be activated, and increased secretion of Salivary amylase activity (SAA). This experiment uses the detection of SAA as a physiological indicator to detect the stress state. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of sniffing complex essential oil. The total of 18 subject are in the range of 20 to 60 years old participate the experiment. After three days of testing, 54 pairs of data were collected. Comparative analysis of two groups of monitoring quantitative numerical samples before and after essential oil intervention. The experimental results showed that the average value of SAA before sniffing was 50.98 ± 28.12 kIU/L, and the average value after sniffing was 36.63 ± 20.2kIU/L, and after 18 people sniffing essential oil the average was improved 28.15 kIU/L. There was a significant statistical difference between the experimental groups, p<0.001. The results show that the SAA physiologically improved significantly after sniffing the complex essential oil.
