謝靈運的作品集最早見於[陳]江總〈游攝山棲霞寺.詩序〉。從《隋書》以下,《舊唐書》、《新唐書》、《宋史》皆有著錄,到[南宋]晁公武《郡齋讀書記》才未見記載。《謝靈運集》歷經明清至今,經學人長期的重輯、校勘而逐漸接近原貌。歷代的輯本以[明]焦竑《謝康樂集》、張溥《謝康樂集》、[清]嚴可均《全宋文》等輯錄的謝靈運文,[民國]逯欽立《先秦漢魏晉南北朝詩》之《宋詩》所收謝靈運詩等最膾炙當時。民國之後,除了仰紹前代繼續《謝靈運集》的整理與校勘,更別開白話注釋與賞析《謝靈運集》的工作。葉笑雪《謝靈運詩選》首開以白話解釋字詞、串講大意並賞析詩歌的風氣,可惜並非注解全集。真正全面進行謝靈運詩文的採集甄別、考訂注解的是顧紹柏的《謝靈運集校注》與李運富的《謝靈運集》兩本專書。顧書考訂精審,資料浩博,屬於學術性的專書;李書全面注解詩文,其普及之功值得一提。
Hsieh Ling-yun's works was recorded by "Sui Shu", "Jin Tang Shu ","New Tang Shu"and" Sung Shu". It failed to be handed down from the S outhern Song dynasty. Many scholars collect and annotate Hsieh Ling-yun's works durin g the past few hundred years,and their effort s to make works restored gradually. Ming dynasty Jiao Hong and Zhang Pu, Qing Dynasty Yan K'ochun and Re publican China LU-GIN-LI all worked very hard and had good performance. In 1960s Ye Xiao Xue first put vrnacular interpretation on the Hsieh Ling-yun's poetry. In twentieth Century Gu Shao-Bo and Li Yun F u collect Hsieh Ling-yun's works, edit being lost study and rectify error or di fferent parts. Gu Shao-Bo's study suitable areas of academic. Li Yun Fu 's study is suitable for general reading public.
