身心障礙福利機構教保員對智障者實施性教育之現況調查

A Survey on Implementation about Sexuality Education of Training & Caring Staff in Welfare Institutions for the Disabled

摘要


本研究以高屏地區身心障礙福利機構教保員為研究對象,旨在探討身心障礙福利機構教保員對智障者實施性教育現況,根據研究者參考相關文獻自編「身心障礙福利機構教保員對智障者實施性教育現況調查問卷」進行調查,共發出157 份問卷,回收136 份有效問卷。研究結果顯示:一、在實施性教育內容以SIECUS 六大概念中『關係』所佔比例最高,再依序為『個人技巧』、『人類發展』。而在子概念中則以「友誼」所佔比例最高,再依序為「家庭」、「青春期」、「愛」及「溝通」為主。二、在性教育教學法以「講述法」、「視聽媒體」及「圖卡照片」為主。三、在性議題處理方式以「個別教導」為主。四、在實施性教育所遭遇之困難以「社會環境提供太多色情資訊」、「智能障礙者本身認知及學習能力不佳」及「缺乏性教育教學相關資源及輔助教材」為主。五、不同性別、教育背景及婚姻狀況之教保員與實施性教育現況有部份差異,但不同教保年資之教保員與實施性教育現況則無顯著差異。根據上述研究結果,提供社政主管機關、身心障礙福利機構及教保員未來實施性教育參考並對後續研究者提出若干建議。

This study was for training & caring staffs in welfare institutions for the disabled in Kaohsiung Pintung area. In order to investigate implemention about sexuality education of training & caring staffs in welfare institutions for the disabled. According to relevant literature designed "Questionnaire of implemention about sexuality education of training & caring staffs in welfare institutions for the disabled". Issued a total of 157 questionnaires, and 136 valid questionnaires returns. The results show: First, about the content of sexuality education, in key concepts of SIECUS, the highest percentage was "Relationships", in proper order was "personal skills", "human develop". In topics, the highest percentage was "friendship", in proper order was "family", "puberty", "love" and "communication". Second, oral discussion , audiovisual media, and schematic drawing were the major teaching methods. Third, handing sex related behaviors, most of training & caring staffs used individual teaching. Fourth, The main difficulties of sexuality education were "there are many pornography information from society environment ", "mental retardation have no best cognition and learning ability ", "Lack of resource in teaching sexuality education and auxiliary teaching material. Fifth, implemention about sexuality education, part of the differences on gender, educational background, and marriage status. There’s no distinguished differences with teaching experiences. Based on these results, provide sexuality education references for the competent authorities, welfare institutions for the disabled and training & caring staffs, and provide some suggestions for future researchers.
