The primary purpose of this paper is to analyze the evil father images in Harry Potter series, especially Voldemort and Severus. This paper focuses on the two evil father images, Voldemort and Snape, and examines their relationships with Harry. Voldemort is Harry’s sworn enemy by fate, but between them exist some intricate relationships. On the other hand, Snape Treats Harry in an antagonistic way. He plays the role of being more than Harry’s teacher. On the whole, their influence on Harry is not only far-reaching but also complicated and mysterious.
