We describe the images of CT and UGI in a patient with Gastric volvulus disease to further elaborate the various findings of Gastric volvulus disease in medical imaging studies. In addition, by abdominal CT added with contrast medium, it helps to diagnose Gastric volvulus disease from other disease alike. This can be further proved by the result of UGI. Therefore, abdominal CT with contrast medium should be considered as the first-line examination for Gastric volvulus disease. When CT imaging fails to provide useful information, UGI can be followed for clarification. We consider this to be a reasonable and effective way to diagnose Gastric volvulus disease.
