認真性休閒觀點下之赴日自駕旅遊者行為初探

A Preliminary Study on the Behavior of Self-driving Tourists to Japan from the Perspective of Serious Leisure

摘要


早期海外旅遊以跟團型式為主,隨著國外旅遊經驗的累積,開始出現僅向旅行社購買機加酒的半自助旅遊,近期則有越來越多旅客採全程自行安排食、住、行及觀光景點等活動的旅遊模式,甚至以租車自駕方式遊歷當地。上述旅遊模式的變化可觀察出,臺灣旅客在海外旅行自主性需求及旅遊風險承擔能力的變化,此與既有少數研究中提及自駕旅客對自由、控制感和獨立性追求的期望不謀而合(Wilson & Hannam,2017)。認真性休閒觀點自1970年代提出以來,即關注於多樣的休閒活動,然而卻少有以海外自駕旅遊者為對象的研究。日本為台人出國旅遊的熱門目的地,且自駕旅遊的比例日益增高(國土交通省觀光廳,2020)。據此,本研究抽樣將透過赴日旅遊臉書社團進行具自駕旅遊經驗者的招募,以訪談法及內容分析法進行資料收集與分析,以認真性休閒觀點為基礎,嘗試挖掘赴日自駕者在赴日旅遊經驗中其心理特質與行為變化的樣貌。在赴日自駕旅遊蓬勃發展的趨勢之下,期望本研究結果可了解赴日自駕旅遊者的心理與行為特徵,進而提供自駕旅遊市場在經營管理上之參考。

Overseas tour was mainly in the form of escorted tour in the past. With the accumulation of foreign travel experience, semi-self-guided tour, that only book flight and hotel from travel agencies, have begun to appear. Recently, more and more tourists are making full arrangements for food, accommodation, and transportation and sightseeing spots and other activities by themselves, and even travel around the local area by renting a car and driving. The changes in the above-mentioned travel patterns can be seen in Taiwanese tourists’ demand for autonomy in overseas travel and changes in travel risk-taking ability, which the same with the expectations of self-driving tourists for freedom, well-control and independence that are mentioned in the few existing studies. (Bokhari, 2020; Wilson & Hannam, 2017). Since the concept of serious leisure was published in the 1970s, it has focused on a variety of leisure activities, but there are few studies on overseas self-driving tourists. Japan is a popular destination for Taiwanese to travel abroad, and the proportion of self-driving travel is increasing. (Japan Tourism Agency,2020). Based on the information above, this study attempt to recruit people with self-driving travel experience through the Facebook traveling group to Japan, collect and analyze data by interviewing and contenting analysis methods, and try to find self-driving travelers to Japan based on the seriousness and leisure perspective, the appearance of their psychological traits and behavioral changes in the experience of traveling to Japan. Under the booming trend of self-driving tourism in Japan, it is hoped that the results of this study can understand the psychological and behavioral characteristics of self-driving tourists in Japan, and then provide a reference for the operation and management of the self-driving tourism market.
