苗栗通霄鎮之白沙屯媽祖進香繞境活動,每年皆會採取獨特的方式進行。大媽祖至北港朝天宮進行進香,會先到秋茂園登上粉紅超跑之竹鑾轎,然後由北而南依序而行。報名進香活動以現場報名,並領取香丁腳(進香眾)所需的物品。「鑽轎下」代表媽祖所到之處為民為世祈福,特別是粉紅超跑所到之處,除受到廣大信徒信眾的追隨與膜拜之外,媽祖也很隨興的行走非典的路線和不確定的休憩之地,不管是店家、廟宇、學校或是機關、村里都有可能是粉紅超跑的形跡之處。信徒信眾大都會準備免費的結緣物品,如食物、遮陽、遮雨之物品,另也透過進香活動,活絡了經濟生活,旅遊所需的交通、食物、住宿,在活動期間創造了可觀的經濟利益。本文旨在每年的白沙屯進香文化中所進行的模式、以及深度旅遊中情境、經濟活動所帶來與宗教活動中相關的益處。經由深度旅遊的探究,粉紅超跑的急行軍,又有別於其他宮廟之與政治、陣頭比拚較勁之忽略與弱化,白沙屯拱天宮確實成功造就了地方特色的非典模式,也透過深度旅遊之體驗,具有健康旅遊之研究價值。
