【論文摘要】Literature Review on Hitting Mechanics of Baseball Players at Different Skill Levels

摘要


研究動機與目的:探討不同層級及技能水準棒球選手,在打擊動作過程中可能存在的共通趨勢、特徵或差異,以及影響打擊表現之關鍵因素。研究方法:本文獻探討使用Google學術搜尋、華藝線上圖書館、臺灣博碩士論文知識加值系統,使用中文關鍵詞,棒球、打擊、動作模式、運動學;英文以baseball player, hitting, swing等,從2000年至2023年9月搜尋相關文獻,檢視排除與主題不符之文獻,其餘文獻進一步進行標題、摘要檢視。初步發現和結果:打擊技巧較高之棒球選手在上身或是骨盆的總體轉動角度較大、軀幹角速度峰值較高、揮棒過程花費時間明顯多於技巧較低之選手,另外擊球時後腳膝關節角度也較大,因此有較高的擊球速度;然而無論技能水準高、低之打者,皆會使肩部旋轉的角位移大於骨盆,肩部發生最大旋轉角度的時間點則皆明顯晚於骨盆,而擊球瞬間,手腕、肘部和髖關節之速度在技能水準高、低的擊球員間沒有顯著差異。預期貢獻:在棒球打擊動作方面,不同層級選手存在差異;然而目前國內針對少棒層級選手研究較為缺乏,未來可針對少棒為對象做相關研究。

Objective: Exploring common trends, characteristics, or differences in hitting mechanics among baseball players at different levels of expertise and skill, as well as identifying key factors influencing batting performance. Methods: This literature review utilizes Google Scholar, the Airiti Library Online, and the Taiwan Electronic Theses and Dissertations System. Chinese keywords including baseball, hitting, movement patterns, and kinematics were employed, while English terms such as baseball player, hitting, and swing were utilized. Literature spanning from 2000 to September 2023 was searched, with irrelevant documents excluded based on the topic. The remaining literature underwent further examination of titles and abstracts. Results: Baseball players with higher batting skills exhibit greater overall rotation angles in the upper body or pelvis, higher peak trunk angular velocities, and significantly longer swing durations compared to players with lower skills. Additionally, they tend to have larger knee joint angles of the back foot during ball contact, resulting in higher bat speeds. However, regardless of skill level, hitters consistently demonstrate greater angular displacement of the shoulders than the pelvis, with the time of maximum shoulder rotation occurring notably later than that of the pelvis. Moreover, there are no significant differences in the velocities of the wrist, elbow, and hip joints at the moment of bat-ball impact between hitters of different skill levels. Expected Contributions: In terms of baseball hitting mechanics, differences exist among players of different skill levels. However, there is currently a lack of research focusing on players at the Little League level domestically. Future studies could be conducted specifically targeting this demographic.
