摘要


神經性嗅覺喪失的治療效果往往不盡裡想,德國Thomas Hummel提出嗅覺訓練,以玫瑰、丁香、檸檬及尤加利四種精油早晚刺激患者,可以提高嗅覺改善的比例。後續許多的臨床研究也提供了此種療法改善嗅覺(有28-68%患者經訓練能改善)的證據。後來有更多的研究發現味道的選用不用拘泥於原始的四種味道、每天訓練持續至少12-16周以上效果才看得見,對於病毒感染造成之嗅覺喪失效果最好,外傷性預後較差仍然可以一試,即便是年長者也可以訓練,並且可以搭配其他口服/外用藥物一起治療,以增加病人嗅覺回復的機率。
