評估PET/CT檢查肝臟等價劑量及醫學大學核子醫學科之環境輻射背景

Liver Equivalent Dose of PET/CT Examination and Environmental Radiation Background at Nuclear Medical Department of Medical University

摘要


整合式單光子暨電腦斷層攝影機((Positron emission tomography/computed tomography, PET/CT)由靶核(鎢、鐵)會放出巨大的X-射線,腹部檢查的患者與工作人員即可能接受到檢查時的未知洩漏光子。這些假體進行腹部PET/CT 檢查時,熱發光劑量計佈值於侖道與10 到90 公斤之自研假體的肝臟並評估等價劑量。二維的笛卡兒座標系當為針對每切片原點,進行TLD 佈點及定位。假體的肝臟等價劑量由Image J,加權方法應用於每切片的肝臟等價劑量。肝臟劑量於權重後得到更精準之劑量為3.98±0.72 至9.27±1.67 mSv。而於核醫科環境背景輻射,其他地點的輻射範圍為是0.18±0.02 至0.45±0.13 mSv/mo,最高為0.90±0.17 mSv/mo 在PET/CT 檢查室的內牆,遠遠低於ICRP 60 的劑量限值。

Positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scanner emits substantial x-ray emissions from the target (tungsten, iron). The patient and worker are therefore exposure to undesirable photon leakage during scanning X-ray radiation. The liver equivalent dose (D_(liver)) of random and self-developed mathematic phantom (SDM), ranging from 10 to 90 kg, were calculated via Thermo luminescence dosimeters (TLD-100H) that was inserting into these phantoms undergoing PET/CT examinations. A two dimensional Cartesian coordinate system was created by considering each of SDM and random phantom's slices for position. Using Image J and weighting methods to calculate Dliver of each slice of these phantoms. Dliver ranges from 3.98±0.72 to 9.27±1.67 mSv. Environmental doses ranged from 0.18±0.02 to 0.45±0.13 mSv/mo and up to 0.90±0.17 mSv/mo among inner wall of PET/CT room. It is far less than the occupation limit of ICRP 60 recommended.
