摘要
Este artículo ofrece una visión de la Universidad Ursulina de Lenguas Wenzao, centrándose en su Departamento de Español, ubicada en Kaohsiung, Taiwán. Fundada en 1966, la universidad ha evolucionado desde un colegio femenino a una institución coeducativa con una amplia oferta académica. El Departamento de Español, presente desde el inicio de la universidad, ha adaptado su estructura educativa a lo largo del tiempo y actualmente ofrece programas de College y licenciatura. Con un enfoque en la enseñanza del idioma y la cultura hispánicos, el departamento establece objetivos generales y lingüísticos para sus estudiantes, apoyados por un profesorado diverso y por recursos didácticos avanzados. Además, se enfatiza en la importancia de las actividades extracurriculares, tutorías y programas de intercambio para enriquecer la experiencia educativa y promover la visión multicultural de la universidad. La tradición de representaciones teatrales por parte de los graduados destaca como un elemento cultural significativo. En resumen, la Universidad Ursulina de Lenguas Wenzao y su Departamento de Español se dedican a la excelencia académica y al desarrollo integral de sus estudiantes, manteniendo vivo su lema: Vida, Comunicación, Liderazgo.

文藻外語大學，由天主教聖吳甦樂會於1966年在台灣高雄創立，最初為女子專科學校，後來開放男性入學，並逐步擴展其學科範疇與設施。學校秉持基督教精神與尊重個體價值的教育傳統，致力於培養學生的語言能力與專業素養，並注重多元文化視野與國際觀。西班牙語系自學校創立之初即設立，並隨著學校的發展，課程與教學方式不斷創新。該系目前提供五專部與大學部兩學制之課程，並有多元的學術與實務專業教師團隊，致力於提供學生全面的語言學習與專業訓練。該系積極與海外大學合作，提供學生交換機會，並與企業合作開展實習計畫，以增進學生的實務經驗與國際視野。透過這些活動，學生不僅能夠提升自身的語言能力與專業素養，也能夠擴大自己的國際視野，為未來的職業生涯做好準備。｜This article provides an overview of Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, focusing on its Department of Spanish, located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Founded in 1966, the university has evolved from a women's college to a coeducational institution with a wide range of academic offerings. The Department of Spanish, present since the university's inception, has adapted its educational structure over time and currently offers undergraduate and bachelor's degree programs. With a focus on teaching the Spanish language and culture, the department sets general and linguistic objectives for its students, supported by a diverse faculty and advanced teaching resources. Additionally, the importance of extracurricular activities, tutoring, and exchange programs is emphasized to enrich the educational experience and promote the university's multicultural vision. The tradition of theatrical performances by graduates stands out as a significant cultural element. In summary, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages and its Department of Spanish are dedicated to academic excellence and the holistic development of their students, keeping alive their motto: Life, Communication, Leadership.
