白殭菌防治甘藷蟻象

Field Application of Beauveria bassiana for Control of Sweet Potato Weevil, Cylas cormicarius

摘要


種植甘藷及塊根形成時,各噴施由甘藷蟻象(Cylas formicarius)分離所得之白殭菌(Beauveria bassiana)1.6×10^4 conidia/ml一次;種植甘藷時,撒含白殭菌(約10^9 conidia/g)之大豆於畦底者能有效防治甘藷蟻象,且防治效果優於化學殺蟲劑一陶斯松及好年冬。種植甘藷及塊根形成時,各噴施由蜜蜂所分離之白殭菌1×10^6 conidia/ml一次之防治其效果優於其他四種不同菌系之白殭菌。

Spraying of Beauveria bassiana isolated from the sweet potato weevil, Cylas formicarius, at 1.6 × 10^4 conidia/ml at planting and rootstockformation time, and broadcasting of soybean seeds containing B. bassiana into the rows at planting were effective for control of the sweet potato weevil in field experiments. Application of B. bassiana isolated from the honey bee at 1 × 10^6 conidia/ml at planting and rootstock formation time was the best among 5 strains tested. All treated plots were significantly different at the 5% level compared with the control plots, based on damage rate(%) and number of weevils per kilogram of sweet potato.
