摘要

台英公司以代理銷售各國雜誌起家，直到投入兒童讀物的出版，一路都秉持為國人服務的態度，積極且腳踏實地的為提升本土文化而努力，尤其在圖畫書的出版方面，在台灣的兒童文學史中，她的成就早已有目共睹。在台灣的圖畫書出版史上，台英公司可謂先鋒之一，以「給孩子一生的愛」做為出版理念和選書原則，到目前已出版超過一百六十本圖畫書。與眾不同是，她不只結合教育觀念，以推動「親子共讀」為法，更聘請國內多位知名兒童文學家為顧問，落實其在親子教育上的理念，讀圖畫書深根到親子的生活和教育裡。

Formosan Magazine Press, Inc. (FMP), rising in selling foreign magazines as a consignee to publishing children's books, has been adhering to the attitude of serving people. Its effort actively to promote the indigenous culture in the development of Taiwan children's literature has known to everyone, publishing picture books especially. In the publishing history of picture book in Taiwan, FMP was one of the pioneers that published picture books, over 160 volumes untill now, with the principle of ＂Giving Children Love all their life＂ choosing the books. What the extraordinary it had that, not only has it combined with the idea of education to push ＂parents and kids reading together＂, but invited some famous workers of children's literature in Taiwan as its advisors to fulfill the principle of education, letting picture books plant deeply into everyone's life.
