應用3D列印技術於鑄造模具之製造

Fabrication of Casting Tools Employing 3D Printing Technology

摘要


本案建立國內應用3D列印砂模技術於鋁合金鑄造模具的首例,研究之實施過程需整合鑄造方案設計、鑄造凝固模擬分析、模具設計、3D列印與鑄造澆鑄等工程,才能準確且快速製造符合鑄造模具之鑄件。本案例完成的鑄造模具可直接應用於傳統砂模量產製程上,加速鑄造產品交貨期40%以上,節省模具費用5萬以上。應用於類似產品的模具開發上,在一次列印工作中(工作箱尺寸為2000 × 1000 × 1000 mm)可成型24套不同種類的模具,對於新產品模具的開發製作具有高度發展潛力,並提高3D列印鑄造模具應用於量產模具的可能性。

This study is the first case in using 3D printing sand mold technology to manufacture casting tools in Taiwan. In order to rapidly and accurately fabricate casting tools for casting manufacturing, this study integrates design of casting methods, casting simulation, design of molds, 3D printing, and casting pouring engineering. The finished casting tools in this paper have been applied in mass production of sand mold and help shorten delivery time up to 40% and reduce the cost of the tool more than fifty thousand NTD. For similar application of new product development, 24 sets of various sand molds can be printed in one working process (the size of the job box 2000 × 1000 × 1000 mm). This innovative process has high potential in tool manufacturing for new product development and helps increase the applications of 3D printing technology in sand mold mass production industry.
