雷射金屬沉積(laser metal deposition, LMD)為一種基於雷射應用的積層製造方式,可廣泛應用於金屬品製造、金屬披覆、高價值金屬品重建及功能性零組件製造。而雷射金屬沉積製程包含各種複雜參數,如雷射能量、光斑直徑、披覆路徑方式、粉材供粉量、雷射移動速度及氣體流量。然而這些製程參數往往會因材料、雷射金屬沉積設備與操作環境的不同而有所差異,仍需面臨材料性質與製造精度的挑戰。因此需要透過加法與減法加工之多功能複合製程方法,並整合CAD/CAM軟體以滿足應用與製造需求。本文將針對雷射金屬沉積直接成型螺桿製程中,所使用的加值型CAD/CAM客製化系統、沉積製程研究及應用進行介紹。
Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) is a laser-based additive manufacturing technology, which can be used in various material processing, such as in metallic components fabrication, metallic coating, high-value component repair, and functional parts manufacturing. The LMD process consists various process parameters, including laser power, laser beam diameter, hatch path, powder feed rate, motion velocity, and gas flow rate. These process parameters are dependent to materials, LMD machines and operating environment; and the major challenges are to ensure material properties and machining accuracy. Therefore, by adopting a multi-functional composite manufacturing with additive processing and reductive processing, and integrating CAD/CAM software, the needs in application and manufacturing can be fulfilled. This paper will introduce the LMD technology for screw conveyor, including its customized CAD/CAM software system, the development of deposition process, and its applications.
