通訊在智慧工廠中扮演重要角色,目前工業上採用多種通訊技術,標準資料交換介面的缺乏導致資訊整合不易,因此,具備開放性,跨平台通訊及安全性等特點的IEC 62541 OPC統一架構(OPC UA)通訊標準成為了工業資訊整合的最佳選擇,德國 RAMI 4.0及美國IIRA架構均採用OPC UA通訊。本文對OPC UA通訊技術進行了介紹,並介紹了協助傳統製造業導入工業4.0的案例,通過導入OPC UA來實現機台間通訊技術架構的標準化,整合資料採集與監控系統(SCADA)擷取設備資訊,導入AI決策系統以進行品質管控、預診設備健康狀態,從而提早進行維修以降低產品不良率以及因停機整修所造成的損失。
Effective communication plays an important role in smart manufacturing. In practice, heterogeneous standards are used for field devices. In consequence, standardized access to the information of individual equipment and components in a plant is not allowed. There is little communication between equipment. Therefore, IEC standard 62541 OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) is chosen by both RAMI 4.0 and IIRA to be a major candidate for industrial communication due to its openness, interoperability and security mechanism. OPC UA enables integration of production data from device level to different levels of information systems. This paper gives an overview of server/client architecture of OPC UA. Industrial application is also presented in this paper. Communication is standardized by the adoption of OPC UA into automation devices in the present case. Thus, OPC UA servers enable Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to manage the valuable process information. Collected process information can be used for quality control and equipment health management to improve the productivity and reduce the cost.
