Traction Inverter and Power Converter Technology Trends and Challenges

摘要


本文回顧並探討電動車動力與電力系統中馬達驅控器與車載充電器(On-Board Charger, OBC)之趨勢,包含US Drive、EU 2ZERO技術目標,並對國際車電充電規範、電壓、功率、功率密度與效率、及現況作分析。針對馬達驅控器與車載充電器之趨勢,工研院機械所智慧車輛組積極佈局開發高效率高功率密度之馬達驅控器與雙向充電車載充電器,以解決現階段電動汽車續航低及車輛空間受限的問題。透過導入國際標竿產品做分析參考,期能超越美國US Drive 2025年之功率密度目標,進而佈局2025年後之動力與電力系統發展。

This article reviews and discusses the trends of motor drives and on-board chargers (OBC) in electric traction inverter and power converter systems, which are based on US Drive and EU 2ZERO technical goals, and analyzes international vehicle charging standards, voltage, power, power density, efficiency, and current status for analysis. According to the trend of motor drivers and on-board chargers, the Intelligent Mobility Technology Division of ITRI is actively developing high-efficiency and high power density motor drivers and bidirectional onboard chargers to solve the current problem of low battery life of electric vehicles and space constrained issues. By introducing international benchmark products for analysis and reference, it is expected to exceed the power density target of US Drive in 2025, and then lay out the development of power traction inverter and power converter systems after 2025.
