With the increasing popularity and prevalence of mobile devices in recent years, broadband wireless services have become an integral part of people's daily life. Taiwan's mobile telecom operators have therefore made it a top priority to provide a fast and stable internet connection to attract and keep large numbers of customers. This study measured and analyzed the connection quality of 4G wireless services provided by five mobile telecom operators in several hot-spot areas in Kaohsiung. The experiment checked uplink and downlink speeds, as well as the impact of Carrier Aggregation (CA) on the speed of 4G Internet connection.
