據統計全世界百年企業數量之冠在日本,其數量高達兩萬多間,即使是跟位居第二的美國百年企業數相比,美國的百年企業數量也不到日本的二分之一,相差一萬多間。在百年的時空洪流中,歷經工業革命、世界大戰、石油危機、科技革命、泡沫經濟等大事件,歷經多次時代的大變動,日本百年企業依舊能屹立不搖代代傳承,實屬難能可貴。本研究將探討那些百年企業成功的原因,並針對可能成功原因做探討,主要探討內容包括日本企業家族或非家族對企業永續經營之影響、日本企業家族控制股權的比例與企業永續經營呈倒U關係以及家族企業CEO持股最適比例。本研究選用OSIRIS資料庫,選擇資料庫內日本企業中的百年企業為研究樣本,再針對百年企業中的高階管理團隊管理者的各項數據去做研究,分析百年企業高階管理團隊管理者的背景是否會對企業績效產生影響。
According to statistics, Japan is leading the numbers of enterprises that last 100 years in the world. Even when it compares to the United States of America that in the second place, the number of enterprises in the USA that top ranks among the world are only one-twoth of Japan's. As the time goes by with various major changes, such as industrial revolution, world war, oil crisis, economic bubble, etc, the enterprises in Japan stand still and have been passing through from generation to generation, becoming a very sustainable enterprises. This study investigates reasons behind the success of those 100-years enterprises and explores the related influential factors. The main contents of the study would include the impact of Japanese corporate or non-family business on the sustainable development of enterprises, the proportion of Japanese family business controlling the shareholdings, the optimal proportion of CEO shares in family business. This study uses the OSIRIS database by selecting the 100-years enterprises in Japan as the research samples. Then, the data of the top management team in these selected enterprises were analyzed to get some insights should the background of the management team play an important role in business performance.
