摘要

本文對世界上四種蜜蜂，大蜜蜂( Apis dorsata Fab.)、小蜜蜂(A. florea Fab.)、東方蜜蜂(A. cerana Fab.)、西方蜜蜂(A. mellifera L.)作總括性整理及記述。文中分述蜜蜂的世界性分布，品種的分類依據，各品種的特性及其經濟重要性的品種。
