摘要

利用兩廂式設計之蜂后築巢盒與蜂群繁殖盒，針對廣泛分布於台灣中低海拔地區之精選熊蜂（Bombus eximius），進行室内飼養之實驗。引入蜂后築巢盒之野生蜂后可順利築巢產卵，待第一批工蜂羽化後，移入蜂群繁殖盒中繼續飼養，成功於室内條件下建立精選熊蜂蜂群。

Two chamber queen start boxes and colony finisher boxes were used to rear a low to mid-elevation Taiwanese bumblebee (Bombus eximius) in captivity. We induced field-caught queens to nest and produce the first brood in the queen start box, then moved the initial colony to the finisher box after the first batch of workers under went eclosion. We were successful in rearing a B. eximius colony in captivity.
