Biting midges of the genus Culicoides (Diptera, Ceratopogonidae) from Kinmen Is. (Quemoy)

摘要

The results of the Culicoides midge collections carried out in Kinmen Is. in September and December of 1994 and March, June and September of 1995 and March of 1996 by means of light traps are recorded. Twenty two species of the genus Culicoides were treated and recorded. All of the species recorded are new to Kinmen Is., and 3 of them are new to whole China, including Taiwan. They are Culicoides halonosticus, C. nudipalpis and C. thurmanae. A key with photographs of the wing markings is provided for use by those who work in the fields of public health, veterinary medicine, biology and leaching.

本報告記錄1994年9月、12月、1995年3月、6月、9月及1996年3月六次以捕蚊燈採集的結果，敘述了蠓科庫蠓屬的22種蠓種。全部蠓種均為金門地區新記錄種，其中3種是全中國的新記錄種，即環斑庫蠓(Culicoides halonosticus)、裸鬚庫蠓(C. nudipalpis)及塔氏庫蠓(C. thllrmanae)。本文檢附檢索表及翅上斑紋照片以利公共衛生、獸醫學、生物學及教學等工作人員之參考及應用。
