近年来，不少学者依据以往数千年宗教典籍和历史文献中透露出的蛛丝马迹，结合考古发掘的一系列新鲜成果和古文字研究的成果，不断充实了犹太民族起源于埃及的假说。他们强调，西方三大一神教—犹太教、基督教和伊斯兰教—的真正根源，应该到埃及背景中去查找。因此，西方文明的真正源头不止于希腊，而可以上溯到西亚和埃及。本文尝试从这一角度探讨犹太民族的埃及背景和西方文明的中近东源流。

A few scholars nowadays try to enrich the conjecture for the Egyptian origination of Jewish people by the clues explored from the Bible and historic sources, combining with a series of new studies on the results of excavations and Egyptian hieroglyphics, they emphasize the fact that, the true origination of three great monotheism that is to say, the Judaism, the Christianity and the Islam of the western world, must have their background from the Egyptian history. So to speak that, the true origination of western civilization is not only traced to Greece, but could be traced to the Western Asia and Egypt. The thesis tries to inquiry the Egyptian background of Jewish people and the Near - Middle Eastern origination of the Western civilization.
