RESEARCH ON THE CURRENT SITUATION OF PUBLIC PERCEPTION AND INHERITANCE PATH OF JIAYU WUDU

As a unique regional cultural symbol of Jiayu County, Jiayu Wudu has received increasing attention from the local government in recent years, and the publicity and protection of Jiayu Wudu has been increasing, but according to a fact-finding survey, the popularity of Jiayu Wudu among the general public is low, and the inheritance and development of Jiayu Wudu still face great difficulties. Therefore, it is necessary to study the heritage of Jiayu Wudu. The study mainly used a combination of questionnaires and in-depth interviews, supported by academic research monographs and papers, local literature and internet materials. After analysis, it was found that Jiayu Wudu can be inherited and developed through the following paths: integrating with regional brands to build the brand image of Wudu; opening up new media communication channels; improving and innovating the Wudu itself and its repertoire; and introducing professional talents and professional teams. The Jiayu Wudu is the only earthen instrument that can play harmonies in China so far, and is one of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage in Hubei Province from May to August 2022, Yang Yang Xiong , the leader of the project team of Wuhan Business University, and four members of the team, Xiang Wei, Rui Gu, Zhen Yu and Xinyu Li, under the guidance of Jing Gao, went to eight townships in Jiayu County and conducted a comprehensive research and comparative analysis by means of fieldwork, questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Questionnaires and in-depth interviews were used to conduct comprehensive research and comparative analysis. Based on the results of multiple surveys conducted in July 2022, the current situation of local residents' awareness of Jiayu Wudu in Jiayu was comprehensively analyzed from a quantitative perspective. Combined with in-depth interviews with relevant staff of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Centre, innovative exploration of the heritage path of Jiayu Wudu was conducted, providing useful reference for the development of sustainable heritage measures for Jiayu Wudu.
