Recently, Sexual offendering is one of the most serious crimes in our society.Although we have started concern about recidivism, we still lack of desistant literature and research result. This research employed a qualitative method through interviews with 6 men convicted of sexual offenses and released from custody, to explore the causes of offerding and desistance in life course. This research found that weak intimate attachment, drug and alcohol abuse, and crime situation are important factors to sexual offering; and desistant factors including of family bond, significant others, employment, routine activities, and human agency. Finally, this research also discussed some problems of theory and related literature, hope to contribute to criminological research and criminal justice practice.
