"Playmate" - Marketing Research For Mobile Game Platform

摘要


許多人在空閒時以玩手機遊戲做為娛樂,但也因為沉迷於此而沒有時間交朋友。所以本研究設計了”Playmate"遊戲交友平台,透過分析大數據資料篩選志同道合會員配對成為朋友。配對成功的朋友除了可以在線上一起玩遊戲外,線下還可以一起討論遊戲與聊天。平台亦會讓會員經由購買「虛擬貨幣」得到相關消費優惠,並希望將商機由線上拓展到線下。

Many people play mobile games as entertainment in their free time. These mobile games may be addictive and time consuming, so people who are addicted to these mobile games may not have time to make friends anymore. To address this issue, this study established a "Playmate" platform to analyze members' information and favorite games through the big data analysis, and to use the result of such analysis to match friends of members. After successful pairing members, these members can play games on line together and discuss the gaming strategies and chat on line. The platform will also provide online market so members can obtain relevant consumer discounts through the purchase of "virtual currencies". It is intended that the online game world will expand the business opportunities from online to offline.
