The degumming process of flax fiber was changed to improve the degumming rate of flax fiber. The mechanical properties of flax fiber were tested to make its average fracture strength 114.04cN. At the same time, flax fiber was applied to nonwovens, and its air permeability was 2265.88mm/s, and its moisture absorption was 308.08%. Its performance can reach the high‐end diapers and aunt scarves and their beauty and skin care products used in sanitary nonwovens. Therefore, it can be used as a new generation of environmental protection materials.
