Network Pharmacological Study on the Mechanism of Acorus Tatarinowii on Blood-brain Barrier

摘要

Objective: To analyze the mechanism of Acorus tatarinowii on blood‐brain barrier (BBB) by using the method of network pharmacology. Methods: The main active components and predictive targets of Acorus tatarinowii were searched according to the systematic Pharmacological Database of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCMSP). The target of blood-brain barrier was searched by Drugbank, and the disease and drug prediction targets were intersected, and the common potential treatment targets were screened out. The interaction network diagram of "traditional Chinese medicine‐component‐target" was constructed by using Cytoscape software. GO and KEGG analysis were carried out by Metascape online analysis tool. Results: 87 components of Acorus tatarinowii were found, including 74 common targets with blood‐brain barrier and 14 common targets with blood‐brain barrier. Nine possible pathways of Acorus tatarinowii on the blood-brain barrier were obtained by GO and KEGG analysis. The mechanism may be related to NF‐kB survival signal induced by photodynamic therapy, AGE‐RAGE signal pathway in diabetic complications and other signal pathways. Conclusion: Through the analysis of network pharmacology, it is predicted that Acorus tatarinowii acts on the blood‐brain barrier through multi‐components, multi‐targets and multi‐pathways.
