Multi Coefficient Conformal Transformation of KCS Ship Profile based on Least Square Method

摘要

The aim of this paper is to solve the coefficients of conformal transformation for each cross section of KCS ship form by means of multi coefficient conformal transformation method. The cross section of KCS ship is more complex than that of general ship form, and there is V-shaped curve with bulbous bow, so a more accurate multi coefficient conformal transformation method should be applied. When using conformal mapping method, the difficulty is to determine the coefficients of conformal mapping. In this paper, the finite Laurent series form of conformal transformation based on the mapping of unit circle to ship cross section is adopted. Based on the least square method, the iteration is carried out according to the proportion of arc length, and the MATLAB program is compiled to realize the conformal transformation of multiple coefficients, so that the fitting of any section can be controlled within the given error range.
