Optimization Design of Intersection Signal Timing based on VISSIM Simulation

摘要


In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion at the intersection, taking the intersection of Xingzhu road - Yuntan South Road as an actual case, this paper investigates the traffic operation of the intersection in the evening peak hours, and establishes a simulation model with VISSIM software under the current signal timing scheme, recording the operation of the intersection under the current signal timing scheme, And the current signal timing scheme is optimized. Finally, the parking time, parking times and queue length before and after optimization are compared and analyzed. The results show that the optimized signal timing scheme is more suitable for the intersection, and the use of the optimized signal timing scheme can effectively solve the problem of intersection congestion.
