摘要

At beginning of the following discussion, this paper mainly discussed what situation model is and briefly reviewed and introduced the concept of modality-specific simulation. In order to reach a conclusion about whether the situation model is modality-specific or not, it was further reviewed numbers of existing studies involved situation models and embodiment cognition. However, the paper failed to reach out certain clear evidence that can be used to testify that situation model is indeed implemented in modality specific simulation; unquestionably, there are still countless experiments can be done under this field.
