The Decline of Western Democracy and the Reconstruction of Chinese Democratic Discourse Power

摘要

In the contemporary world political market, democracy firmly occupies the position of discourse hegemony. Therefore who mastered the democratic right to speak, who grasps the world the right to speak. When the new coronavirus broke out, the chaos of Western social governance has already signlaed the decline of contemporary Western liberal democracy. So it's time for China to build a new democratic discourse system centered on people's democracy, and to grasp the dominant position of international discourse power. The extremeization of egalitarianism and individualism in Western democracy has led to the constant approach of Western democracy to populism. In this situation, personal interests are constantly being squeezed. However, the people's democracy in China is the product of the combination of party spirit and people's spirit. While taking into account the overall situation, it also takes into account individual interests and makes up for the shortcomings of Western democracy.
