Since the outbreak of Covid-19, China and the global economy have been hit hard. In order to protect people's livelihood, promoting consumption and boosting the economy, governments have adopted fiscal policies to stimulate consumer spending. Data show that this policy has a stimulating effect on economic recovery and consumption. Therefore, from the perspective of microeconomics, with the help of consumer behavior theory, this paper will analyze the role of consumer coupons in stimulating the economy and the economic principles behind it, and put forward suggestions for the policy, so as to make it a more perfect and reasonable policy and play a better role.
