Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture has always been the treasure of the Chinese nation, the pride of the Chinese nation since ancient times, and an indispensable part of Chinese culture. However, with the improvement of openness to the outside world and economic development, western medicine has been widely spread and developed rapidly. The development of traditional Chinese medicine in China is not satisfactory. Chinese medicine culture has not been further explored and Chinese medicine has not been correspondingly utilized and developed. In this paper, starting from the reality of today's society, the universal value of TCM in today's society was pointed out, and TCM was analyzed from the dimensions of industry development, cultural confidence, and national inheritance, in order to help people understand the development status of TCM in today's society more clearly.
