COVID‐19 has pressed the fast forward button of rethinking and reshaping the global industrial chain, and the global textile enterprise chain has stepped into the "new pattern". The overall consumer confidence in the international market affected by the epidemic continues to decline, and the consumption power declines significantly. The market demand for traditional consumer goods such as clothing is depressed, which also makes the export volume of the textile industry, as an "export‐dependent" industry, continue to decline since 2020. At present, Chinese textile enterprises are not only faced with the problem of the broken chain of the international textile and garment supply chain, but also the continuous uncertainty of the development prospect. This paper analyzes the current situation of China's textile industry and forecasts the prospect of the textile industry in the post‐epidemic era.
