China is the world's largest carbon emitter, accounting for 28.8% of the world's total energy carbon emissions, and has a crucial role in global carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, while it is significant to implement carbon reduction strategies while maintaining steady economic growth. This paper analyzes the decoupling effect and driving factors of carbon emissions from energy consumption in 2000-2019, firstly, the method of measuring carbon dioxide emissions is improved, while the kaya identity is combined with LMDI(Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index) factor decomposition method and decoupling method, and the decoupling index is decomposed from four aspects: carbon emission intensity, energy intensity, economic growth and population size, and finally, the characteristics and driving factors of decoupling of China's energy carbon emission economic growth are comprehensively analyzed from the perspective of time evolution and space difference.
