Marx creatively put forward the idea of "the overall person" on the basis of criticizing the "alienation of labor" caused by capitalist private ownership, workers are deformed and one‐sided. He believed that as a multi‐dimensional existence subject of collective social existence, natural existence, class existence and individual existence, the essence of man is the unity of nature and sociality, initiative and subject and object on the basis of practice. The generative path of "overall person" is the sublation of private property and the return of human essence. This theory not only laid a theoretical foundation for Marx's thoughts on the free and all‐round development of human, but also provided a good theoretical reference for us to understand the labor relations of contemporary capitalism. At the same time, it also provides theoretical guidance for us to better construct the harmonious and unified relationship between man and nature, man and society, man and himself, and to create a good relationship for the free and comprehensive development of man.
