The COVID‐19 pandemic has caused significant economic disruptions worldwide, and the airline industry is one of the most severely affected. Cathay Pacific Airlines Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong, is one of the major airlines that have been impacted by the pandemic. The pandemic led to a sharp decline in air travel and revenue for the company, resulting in increased costs and significant financial difficulties. This paper aims to explore how Cathay Pacific Airlines Limited dealt with the increase in costs under the COVID‐19 pandemic.
