This paper examines the ESG-E strategies of Cainiao Network, a logistics platform company in China. The paper analyzes Cainiao's transition from a logistics platform to a global logistics company, including the launch of its full supply chain logistics brand, Cainiao Express. The paper also evaluates Cainiao's current ESG measures, particularly in relation to carbon emissions generated by logistics transportation. The analysis suggests that while Cainiao has made some progress in implementing ESG measures, there is still room for improvement, particularly in the area of carbon emissions reduction.
