Therapeutic Spiral Model (TSM) psychodrama was introduced to Taiwan by Dr. Cho Wen-Chun in 2000, followed by continuous courses and workshops offered, with its theory embedded, in several places, like Taipei, Taichung, Nantou, and Kaohsiung. Through the courses, many professionals and supporters had completed their trainings, covering trained auxiliary egos (TAE), assistant leader (AL), and team leader (TL). Even as late as in 2019, Dr. Kate Hudgins, the TSM founder, was still lecturing the courses personally in Taiwan. TSM is used as a treatment in counseling for individuals and prisoners in jails, as well as for female victims suffering from the domestic violence. This paper integrates the notes in TSM training, healing experiences, and clinical gains kept by the four authors, as well as their experience of getting along with Dr. Hudgins. It is written in three sections: an action method to heal trauma applying the TSM theory into practice; the differences between TSM and classical psychodrama along with the characteristics of TSM; and TSM, Kate, and I. Finally, a summary about the TSM's limitations is concluded with several suggestions for local groups to develop the TSM in the future.
