马来西亚吉隆坡峇都区华文小学非华裔学生家长情况调查研究

Research on the Non-Chinese Student's Parents of Chinese Primary School in Batu District, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

摘要


本研究通过问卷调查及访问方式调查吉隆坡峇都区8所华文小学里非华裔学生家长将其子女送往华文小学的情况。269位家长接受调查,调查结果显示:一、在普遍性选择上“其他”这选项所占的比例最高即49.8%,而其原因却是父母亲的另一半是华族、孩子想学汉语、孩子中一些已经在华小就读、以及华校有较好的纪律,在工具性选择上,家长都偏向掌握第三语言、获得更好的工作、视野更加广阔及学习华族的文化;二、孩子到华小就读以后,都可以接受华小的学习环境,与华裔之间的关系较为融洽;三、孩子进入华小就读后,有83.3%的家长把孩子送去补习中心,帮助孩子掌握好汉语;四、55.8%家长是想让其孩子在中学时继续学习汉语。

The study uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate the situation of 269 non-Chinese parents sending their children to Chinese primary schools in 8 Chinese primary schools in Batu District, Kuala Lumpur. The results showed that: 1. In terms of universal choices, the "other" option accounted for the highest proportion of 49.8%, but the reason was that the other half of the parents were Chinese, and the children wanted to learn Chinese. Some of the children have already studied in Chinese primary schools and have better discipline in Chinese schools. In terms of instrumental choices, parents tend to master a third language, get a better job, have a broader vision, and learn Chinese culture; 2. After children enter the Chinese primary school, they can accept the learning environment of the Chinese primary school, and the relationship with the Chinese is relatively harmonious; 3. After the child enters the Chinese primary school, 83.3% of parents send their children to the tuition center to help their children master Chinese; 4. 55.8% of parents want their children to continue learning Chinese in middle school.
