马来学生汉语辅音习得中母语负迁移的表现

Negative Transfer from Malay Students' Native Language in the Acquisition of Mandarin Consonants

摘要


第二语言习得过程中,语言迁移(language transfer)是语言学者主要讨论的问题之一。语言迁移在初学阶段的影响显而易见。无可否认,汉语学习者在初学阶段都会受母语正负迁移的影响。母语正迁移固然好,但母语负迁移却造成学习者汉语习得上的困扰。母语负迁移的影响在语音习得上甚为明显。本文将马来学生母语负迁移在汉语辅音发音偏误上的具体表现形式进行分析。本研究以砂拉越玛拉工艺大学的马来学生为实验对象,记录他们的汉语辅音发音偏误,再将收集到的语料根据汉语发音方法进行偏误分类。分析结果显示,塞音的偏误频率最高,然后是塞擦音,最后是擦音,而这些偏误的产生无疑与母语负迁移息息相关。

Language transfer is the one of the main issues in the process of second language acquisition. Language transfer is obviously significant at the beginning stage of learning. Mandarin learners were affected by language transfer from their native language neither in the form of positive nor negative at the beginning stage of learning. Positive language transfer has a positive impact on learners' language learning, in contrast, negative transfer may contribute difficulties in learners' language learning. Negative language transfer of native language is significant in learners' phonetic acquisition. This study aimed to analyze the pronunciation mistake made by Malay students on Mandarin consonants. Malay students from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Sarawak branch was selected as respondent in this study. Their pronunciation mistake on Mandarin consonants were collected and classified. The findings of study manifested that plosives/ stop are the highest error types of pronunciation. It is followed by affricates and finally fricatives. These errors are undoubtedly closely related to negative transfer of native language.
