This study aims to explore the educational value and design principles of nursery rhymes integrated into sports games for young children. Firstly, the article analyzes the combination of nursery rhymes and sports games and their role in promoting cultural and moral education as well as basic physical skills in young children. Secondly, the article discusses the educational functions of nursery rhyme sports games, including promoting the comprehensive development of young children's physical fitness, cognitive abilities, emotional attitudes, and social skills. Then, the article analyzes the role of teachers in nursery rhyme sports games, emphasizing that teachers should play a guiding, demonstrating, motivating, and feedback role in games to help children gain more experiences and insights. Finally, the article proposes design principles for nursery rhyme sports games, including clear game objectives, simple rules, strong interest, high participation, and safety guarantee, to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the games. Through this research, nursery rhyme sports games can be better promoted and applied to promote the comprehensive development of young children.
