摘要

Este artículo es el resumen de mi tesis doctoral del mismo título (Huang, 2015). El marco teórico de la tesis gira en torno al concepto de cultura, la relación entre la cultura española y la cultura taiwanesa, sus diferencias y semejanzas, la importancia de la competencia comunicativa intercultural, la relevancia de las instituciones internacionales como el Consejo de Europa, con su MCER, y el Instituto Cervantes, con su PCIC, etc. Se ha trabajado con una población de profesorado extraída de las Universidades taiwanesas de Fujen, Providence y Tamkangm, y con una muestra de alumnado de dichas universidades, con el fin de conocer sus opiniones sobre el proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje del español como lengua extranjera. También se ha elaborado una plantilla de análisis para estudiar los contenidos de ocho manuales utilizados por el alumnado y el profesorado.

This article is an abstract of my doctoral thesis of the same name (Huang, 2015). The theoretical framework of the thesis revolves around the concept of culture, the relationship between Spanish and Taiwanese cultures, their differences and similarities, the importance of intercultural communicative competence, the importance of international institutions like the Council of Europe, with its CEFR and the Cervantes Institute, with its PCIC, etc. We have worked with a population of teachers drawn from the Taiwanese Universities of Fujen, Providence andTamkang, and a sample of students in these universities, in order to get their views on the process of teaching/learning Spanish as a foreign language. It has also developed an analysis of template to study the contents of eight manuals used by students and teachers.
