SPANISH + ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS SCIENCES: INTERDISCIPLINARY MODEL OF ELE TEACHING IN CHINA

Tomando como ejemplo el programa Español + Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad de Estudios Internacionales de Shanghái, en el presente trabajo se intenta analizar la organización y los logros del modelo interdisciplinario de la enseñanza de ELE en el muy particular contexto chino de Nuevas Humanidades. Mediante el análisis de la documentación oficial del programa, se observa primero la organización interdisciplinaria de las actividades académicas de la especialidad de Español. Posteriormente, se elabora un análisis estadístico con los datos del examen EEE-4 y dos encuestas, una de inserción laboral y otra de formación de posgrado entre los titulados, con el fin de comprobar la eficiencia y eficacia del programa. Finalmente, se resumen las características principales de dicho modelo: la adaptación del plan curricular al objetivo de formación, la combinación orgánica en el proceso de formación y la plataforma de recursos educativos compartidos. Se destacan la competencia lingüística de los titulados y el amplio reconocimiento que reciben en el mercado laboral. Además, se proponen retos potenciales y sus correspondientes sugerencias.

Confronting the challenges and demands of the new era for the traditional human and social sciences, the Spanish + Economic and Business Sciences program of the Shanghai International Studies University aims to serve development strategies within the framework of the New Liberal Arts of China. The present work analyzes the organization and achievements of the development of the New Liberal Arts of Spanish major in the very particular Chinese context. The interdisciplinary organization of the academic activities of this major will be analyzed, and through a statistical analysis of the EEE-4 and two surveys, one for job placement and the other for postgraduate training among the graduates, the efficiency and effectiveness of the program will be determined. Finally, the main characteristics of the organization are summarized: the adaptation of the curriculum to the training objective, the organic combination in the teaching process and the shared educational resources platform. The linguistic competence of the graduates and the wide recognition they receive in the labor market are highlighted. In addition, potential challenges and corresponding suggestions are proposed.
