งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ “เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวอาเภอเชียงคาน จังหวัดเลย ในมุมมองของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย＂ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวอาเภอเชียงคาน จังหวัดเลย ซึ่งมีอายุ 20 ปีขึ้นไป จา นวน 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือแบบสอบถาม มีค่าสัมประสิทธิข์ องความเชื่อมัน่ Cronbatch ได้เท่ากับ .879 วิเคราะห์โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน พบว่า นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยมีความคิดเห็นต่อศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวอาเภอเชียงคานอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่าศักยภาพการดึงดูดใจของแหล่งท่องเที่ยวมีระดับความคิดเห็นมากที่สุด รองลงมา คือ ศักยภาพด้านการจัดการของแหล่งท่องเที่ยว และศักยภาพในการรองรับของแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ตามลา ดับ.

This research has the objective ＂To study the tourism potential of Chiang Khan District, Loei Province from the perspective of Thai tourists＂ The sample group was 400 Thai tourists traveling to Chiang Khan District, Loei Province, aged 20 years above. The data collection tool was a questionnaire with a Cronbatch coefficient of .879, Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The result that Thai tourists had moderate opinions on tourism potential in Chiang Khan District. In each aspect, the result that the attraction potential of the tourist sites had the highest level of opinion, followed by the management potential of the attractions and the carrying capacity of the tourist attractions respectively.
