摘要

教皇格里高利一世在位期间对犹太人整体上秉持一种宽容的态度并采取了一定的庇护政策。其主要背景是他所继承的神学思想、罗马法观念、罗马百废待兴的社会环境以及犹太人在贸易中扮演的重要角色。格里高利一世所奉行的犹太宽容态度及宽待政策可谓是中世纪教廷犹太政策的先声，对犹太教与基督教关系产生了极其深远的影响。

During the papacy of Gregory the Great, he adopted a tolerant and friendly attitude and asylum policies toward the Jews as a whole. The attitude and policies are based on his theological thought, the local Roman laws, the chaotic social environment of Rome and the important role in trade that Jews played. The tolerant attitude and the lenient policies had extremely profound influence to the later generation.
